The DateRange class represents a range of date/time values. It can optionally be associated with a symbol through the Symbol property.

Constructors

1

DateRange

public DateRange()
public DateRange(DateTime sd, DateTime ed)

The parameterless constructor creates a DateRange with StartDate set to DateTime.MinValue and EndDate set to DateTime.MaxValue. The second constructor assigns sd to StartDate and ed to EndDate.

Members

5

EndDate

public DateTime EndDate

The ending date of the date range. The default value is DateTime.MaxValue.

IsDateInRange

public bool IsDateInRange(DateTime dt)

Returns true if the DateTime specified in dt lies within the date range, including the StartDate and EndDate boundaries.

Overlaps

public bool Overlaps(DateRange dr)

Returns true if this DateRange overlaps the DateRange specified in dr. Ranges that share a boundary date are considered to overlap.

StartDate

public DateTime StartDate

The starting date of the date range. The default value is DateTime.MinValue.

Symbol

public string Symbol

Contains the symbol associated with the date range. This is used, for example, by dynamic DataSets to associate a membership date range with a particular symbol.
