WL8 build 79
I have had problems with all extensions since the update to WL8 Build 78 being placed in the Norton 360 quarantine.
Norton 360 is complaining about: "Threat name: Heur.AdvML.B".
I remove the extension files from the Norton 360 quarantine and install them.
WL8 runs fine after doing this.
I also do not get any complaints from MalwareBytes that is also running on my computer.
I did not tag this because I'm not sure what the appropriate tag is.

These false positives are caused by the switch to NET8 and changes to our protection layer. Nothing to worry about.
Thanks
Yesterday, Norton security on my laptop placed WealthLab8.exe in Quarantine. It happened when I was trying to open an ASCII file in notepad when creating a new dataset. The following message was given when I tried to restore the file, "WealthLab8.exe has been moved to Quarantine because it was infected with IDP.Generic". Has anyone come across this issue before?
You can disregard this as another false positive triggered by an external file access event.
Thank you
