Sorry for so many questions; I am trying to get everything set up nicely. I added my Tradestation account and am testing connection with the SIM. I configured the preferences as shown. 
However, I am getting frequent connection errors in the log.
I believe this is preventing me from placing any orders. I tried with auto-place on a strategy as well as manually from both the chart and the order manager. All are getting errors.
I have tried streaming with IQ Feed data and Tradestation, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
I have tried to configure the account through the order manager, but this is all I see for configuration. Should there be something more?

Rename
If you double click one of the errored orders it should show some additional information, are you seeing anything there?
You're using IQFeed symbols, not Tradestation symbols. You need to use Symbol mapping (the small button to the right of Configure...) to translate the symbols to TS.

It's not clear to me if you are referring to mapping symbols from the IQFeed config panel or the TradeStation config panel?... Or would either panel work?
For trading on Fidelity, I usually map my IQFeed symbols (on the IQFeed mapping panel) to work with Fidelity trading symbols. And that works okay, but I'm not sure if that's the best way.
Thank you all!!! After double-clicking the error, I was able to determine that it was a symbol issue. That's good to know for next time. I used the "?" help button to find the symbol mapping in the Order Panel.
