I've been trading multiple strategies using 10% equity in the account. Over time, I find that the Order Manager list of active positions has become out of sync with the actual positions, such that when new buy signals arise the OM assumes that the account has 10 filled positions and won't place the new order.

Is there a way to force a resync of the OM and my Schwab account?

Are you sure that you're not running into an Open Positions threshold (10) you have set in the Trading Preferences? The Error in the Order window will tell you the problem.

That said, you can always check your current account positions with the Accounts tool (Ctrl + T). I would expect them to always be in sync (they are for me), but if you see something wrong, just click the "Request Updates.. " button for a refresh.

Yes, that's exactly what's happening. The challenge is that, even though the account screen shows the list correctly, the order manager seems to think other strategies are open so even though I may only have 8-9 positions actual positions open in the account, I get the "...number of open positions exceeds the Trading Threshold."

I am running 20 strategies simultaneously but only 10 can be in a position at one time.
